Weaker version of the Roto Grip Defiant Soul?
« on: October 17, 2015, 08:16:14 PM »
For how I bowl, I am able to use a Sinister and Defiant Soul as a 1-2 punch.  The DS is a nice step down from the Sinister because it's somewhat weaker and I get the same reaction shape.  Is there a ball that would allow me to keep the same reaction shape, but is a step down from the Defiant Soul?

Currently I am using the Storm Punch Out as a step down from the DS.  Normally I shop with Storm/Roto Grip, but I am willing to try another company if it gets me what I am looking for.

Thank you for any suggestions you can provide.

I'm not sure actually. To me, the Defiant core had a unique roll. It was pretty smooth throughout the lane and had good continuation. Never really seemed to jump with the covers used.

I'd probably suggest the Hysteria. Solid cover that keeps it smoother but still offers backend punch
