This has been a long time coming for me, as I finally hit the perfect 300 for the first time in my 30 years of bowling. I shot 300 right out of the gate first night of the league, 225, 180, for a 705 set.
Finally in the record books, finally.

Duvallite, I was stuck at 297 for many years too before I finally got a 2nd chance.

The first one is toughest, because the mind has never achieved it before. Next time you get the front 10 or 11 it WILL be easier. Now go get some more!

I gotta agree with Lane. All of the naysayers out there will say "betcha can't do it again!!" But in your head you will know that you can, because you've done it before. And now that you know it's possible, you know how to handle yourself when you get that front 10.
And like the others, well done! glad you turned the corner on this. Now, my question is afterwards.. Will you continue to use that ball, punch up another one with the same layout, or put that ball up for the trophy case? :)

Congratulations! Hopefully someone got some video of your last shot or two? You can always go back and watch it and give yourself some inspiration if you're in a slump.
I just looked back at my records. I hadn't been bowling quite as long as you before my first, but not by much. It was 4 more years before my next, but then I had a few in the next couple of years. Of course, that was when I started getting coaching. Like other said, now that you know you can do it, there will be a bit less pressure the next time you have a big string going.

I appreciate all of the support of you all, it goes to show that, although this game is much easier, nothing is never guaranteed at all, and I have been playing for 30 years.
Bradl, I’m probably gonna get another ball, and put in the trophy case. Milo, too funny I love it. ;D

Congrats, man! I always enjoy watching/hearing about someone notch a new high game, first honor score, first 30 clean, etc. It's an awesome achievement, hopefully the first of many for you!
