Im looking forward to the cooler and drier weather.
The lane man has been watching me bowl during practice each week and changing the shot.
I havent gotten into a groove with the heat & humidity messing with my grip each week, the lane changes, and the fact that I bowl with and against people that throw mostly plastic down the lane has really been holding me back.
Some things im going to be thinking about in the next few days to carry with me the rest of the season.
1. Stick with the particle solid longer, just because it checks up early dont feel like you should switch, just follow the oil line and make your own wall.
2. Dont let the only lefty in the league that averages 214 get to you, it must be nice to be a lefty in this league and have the whole lane to yourself. You were born a righty, deal with it.
3. Dont go in with a game plan, keep an open mind and adjust.
4. Keep drying up the outside, the wall has shrunk by 5 boards over 2 weeks, you need to keep making your own shot out there.
5. Switching to the absolute inferno early may give you confidence, but its not going to give you the best chance by game 3.
Ken, come up with a few points of emphasis that will improve you, and stick with it.
