Title: For BrunsRicH and other serious posters
Post by: JohnP on October 25, 2004, 03:29:07 AM
BrunsRicH & others -- You began to post in various forums several days ago, and ran into some "kids" that criticized your opinions.  We haven't heard from you since.  PLEASE don't allow a few crude, misinformed youngsters to prevent you from posting.  I do not intend to run down all the youth that post here, some are polite and quite knowledgeable, but then there's the other type.  And yes, they can be very aggravating.  These forums NEED the expertise you and other experienced professionals possess and are willing to share (and I hope I can put myself in that group). Liberally use the "ignore poster" option if you want to, but continue to give us your opinions.  --  JohnP

Ditto! This is an open forum that we all want to learn and share our ideas. I mistakenly stopped posting but have since seen the errors of my ways, and have taken some heat. Dont quit, we need it all.

Or at least lurk for awhile.  I think you'll see a pretty clear line between the trolls and the quality posters.  There are some great people that post to and read this site - you'd help contribute more quality.

JohnP is correct - there are some great young bowlers that post here that are conscientious and polite which makes me think the future of bowling may not be all that grim after all.
