You've always heard that every pin counts. Well, that saying did indeed come true for Tennelle Milligan in the PWBA Greater Memphis Open. Tennelle made the number 5 spot by defeating Carol Gianotti-Block during the final game of match play, 214-213.....that single pin win carried enough bonus pins that it moved Tennelle into the TV show, where a tie would not have gotten her into the top 5.

Then, with Tennelle being the only righthander in the TV telecast, she advanced past Tiffany Stanbrough, Tish Johnson, Dede Davidson, and Cara Honeychurch to win the title. When you consider that the difference between finishing in 6th place or 1st place hinged on 1 single pin during game 40 of the tournament, you can see that every stick counts.

Ok,I wanna the first,well you were the first.

OK!I'll be the second one to admit that EVERY PIN counts!!!Around 3 weeks ago I was praticing and one my Arch Friends(not any enemy,but competitor)was teasing me cause I was using a Storm Flame Reactive!
So he says"I bet you cant get a 200 or better with,that!"Well,it was a medium oil night ya know.Sure enough.I chanlenged him to his funny thought.I got some strikes,even a turkey,BUT sure enough ta make a LOOOOOONG story short I missed some KEY easy spares(a "4 pin" and "2 pin",baby split).a few too many open frames,strikes dont always save the day!I ending up with a "180".Oh,well,ya win some,ya lose some.

MORAL;Every pin counts,so folks get those spares!!!
