Need ball options
« on: February 01, 2007, 03:58:40 AM »
Im in need of something for TRUE medium oil, but something that is VERY smooth off the break.

I ran into medium oil with FLYING backends the other day, & found that i have absolutely nothing that rolls really smooth off the break.  Im really liking lanemasters stuff right now, but im willing to check out just about anything for this type of condition.

The 2 main balls im thinking of right now would be a L/LM Buzz drilled to roll somewhat early to burn some energy b4 the dry, or a L/LM New Standard 2 drilled for length to get the nice roll on the back.

Any & all opinion on this would be appreciated, thanx in advance

BTW, i have slightly above average speed(about 17-18mph) & 350-375 rev rate.  About 30º of tilt, fairly high track(PAP is 5-5/8 over, 1/4 up)

Shawn,

I have a Track Inertia drilled pin-PAP 2-3/4" x 2-1/2" MB-PAP with 1000 Abralon finish.  Very smooth reaction and great transition from oil to dry.  Don't know how you feel about asymmetrical equipment, but this is my benchmark ball.
