Fun Thread: Where Are They Now? PBA Pros

Where are they now?

Thought I'd throw this out there for you guys...
I was looking for some old PBA tapes at home, btw, if you guys have any that would you like to get rid of, you know who to message! Hehe...Anyways, I always wondered what happened to some of the PRO's who made it on the show only once or twice...

Jimmy Keeth - Won the Tums Classic in 93 I think?
Scott Devers -Lefty who had a very unorthodox swing that swung around his back
Harry Sullins - Righty who had a very cupped wrist then uncorked the ball
Jess Stayrook - PBA champion (Loved watching him saw on that ball)
Bob Belmont - Righty who made the show a bunch in the early 90's - mid 90's
Joe Firpo - Admired his game while I was a Junior Bowler
Mark Mosaybei - Remember him making some telecasts in the late 90's
John O'Drobinak - Saw him on a 1989 telecast. Pretty smooth righty
Will think of more!

Go ahead and add to the list. I tried looking for some of these guys on Bowl.Com
I think Harry Sullins is averaging around 220's somewhere...Any updates on any of these guys?

Have Fun!

Gil Sliker is the manager of a 64 lane center in Bradenton FL, and Kent Wagner is the head mechanic. Palmer Fallgren gives lessons there. I worked there for a year, and all three are class acts, and they bowl in a monday scratch trio league.

Like Jim E. said, Ron Williams is running a Pro Shop at Don Carter Cityview in Fort Worth.  When I was getting back into bowling a few years ago, I had him drill all of my stuff for me.  Jim would definitely know better since he bowls with him.

What happened to Guppy Troup?  I bowled a few Quaker State Pro-Ams with him at Forum Bowl back in the mid 80's (I was 5-6-7 years old).  I always loved that guy.  I know he bowled the senior tour recently, but not sure where he is now.

Scott Devers is the GM for Mike Aulby's Arrowhead Bowl in Lafayette, Indiana.  As far as I know, he doesn't bowl anymore, at least competitively and I never saw him in league while there either.

You were right though, he had one of them most unorthodox backswings you'll ever see, but he came through straight and true which is all that matters.

Guppy Troup is tearing up the PBA South Region.  Seems like every time he enters a tournament, he's making match play.  I bowled beside him a coupl eof years ago.  He was wearing (honestly) teal nylon pants with a fish pattern on them and a shirt that clashed horribly (like anything WOULD go with those pants).  It looked like he was bowling in his pajamas.

He is 100% Guppy - wild, crazy, and a lot of fun to be around.

I've often wondered what happened to Firpo.  I loved wathing the guy on TV.  I met him a couple of times and bowled with him once.  Pretty nice guy - hate to see talent like that go to waste by not bowling anywhere.
