In my current possession, I have mostly 15 lbs., mostly pin up:
Freak (16lbs) -in bag
Freak Out (16 lbs) -in bag
Hyper Cell -in bag
Totally Defiant -in bag
Defiant (Pin out, Double Thumb-ish)
Pursuit
Versa-Max
Red Phantom
Crown (Spare)-in bag

Bowl in a wood house, which shows about 5 different "personalities" per night.
Typically the house is a swamp, heavy head oil, with at least some carry down.
The Totally Defiant and the Hyper Cell were great out of the box, but seem to weaken quite a bit, but after sitting, the Totally Defiant shows some signs of life again. The Versa-Max is a little too head grabby. The Pursuit is not continuous enough for me, it's a great ball,but if you hit an oil patch after the initial break point, you slide out from there, and it's hard to recover.
I have a friend who has a Totally Defiant he doesn't want anymore, similar drill, but a bit stronger, he had the same issues as me with the Totally Defiant becoming too condition specific and not finishing the lane after being oil logged.
I thought about trying to get another Hyper Cell drilled slightly more aggressive than mine, and hitting my current one with 4000 grit, and maybe some polish. My Freak is more aggressive than the Hyper Cell is right now, by about 7-8 boards (at my feet starting point)
On the flip, I wouldn't mind finding another option to go between the Hyper Cell and the Freak.
Pieces that currently interest me:
Covert Revolt
Venator / Venator Pearl
Reax 2
Alien Abduction.
I love how RG stuff operates off my hand, but want a ball that will be close to what it was oob after 70 games, with out needing CPR after every set.

Also, the 16lb freak and freak out were experiments to see if i can throw 16. my first ball ever was a 16, but hurt my wrist and started using a wrist brace. my guess is my 17 year old self didn't have the muscle structure to handle the 16 back then, cause these have problems for me now. In fact, they kind of feel like they slow me down a bit, and helps with my fast feet some.

Personally, bowling in a wood house, I think you have way too many strong bowling balls.

The Hyper Cell is one of the strongest balls on the market, I have a hard time believing that the Freak is almost 2 arrows stronger. Considering that ball is close to 10 years old, this tells me your newer, stronger shelled balls are blowing up at the arrows appearing lazy downlane.

Exactly what I was thinking as well. When a ball burns up early, it's no longer a "hook monster".

The Freak is a recent NIB find. Hyper Cell has been used longer,and has soaked up oil (and yes, i've cleaned it). The Freak also has a slightly stronger drill.
Also kind of hard to consider it burn up when the ball brings back 9+ wraps of oil nearly every throw of the 3 game set.

How far apart is the separation? If its wide, then the ball is flaring out.
