lately ive been really working on everything ie. timing, freer armswing, waiting on the ball, and one problem ive gotten into is keeping my fingers low at the release. any suggestions on how to go about this and doing it in an easier fashion?

If you mean closer to the ground, then bend your knees more.

First of all, keep your wrist straight, do not turn it upron release. Additionally, a deep knee bend is recommended anyway, while keeping your upper body upright (this darmatically impropves the leverage position on the ball) as well as a cupped wrist that will also help with a longer ball contact of the fingers. Just do not over-do it - a knee bend and frim, straight wrist are IMHO all you will ever need, with space for some extra punch if need be.

let me explain what i mean by lower...basically the ball can be divided into for hempishperes...if you image an equator your fingers must be below this line and rotate around it in order for the ball to hook correctly...my question is...does anyone have any methods to keep their fingers lower that worked for them?

Concentrate on rolling the ball instead of trying to hook the crap out of it. This will force you to keep your fingers "lower" on the ball, and come up the side to generate the rolling effect. I've been doing this lately and have been pleasantly surprised by the results. Same amount of hook, but I've been more accurate and my speed more consistent.

I agree with this, I also discovered this technique last week and I shot 4-game sets of 831, 832 and 842 in the three leagues that I play. My year to-date average is 194. I hope that this will allow me to bring my average over 200 next season.
