Hope to see of you in the area.

Jeff,

I'll get you the schedule.  I think we Moonlight bowl on Friday night then Saturday is the Old Timers tournament. But I will get you a better schedule.

Andy,

I don't think you're old enough for the Oldtimers, email me your age, but there is a ton of other bowling going on that you can attend without problem.

V/R,
Barry

I don't have the schedule because I wasn't going initially.  But I will get the schedule andpost it. I know I will miss the first day (Friday) at Sterling.  saturday Old Timers tournament is at Thunder Bowl.  We usually go across the border for a match,.

But Friday night I hope to be at Thunder Bowl.  We are staying at the Greenfield Inn only a couple of miles away.

Hope I see some of you up there, I'll leave the fires in SD but no guarantee about the snow.

Nic--
I met you when you were in town last year.  I might actually get to bowl alongside of you this year.  I'm planning to try to enter the Old Timer's Tournament with a buddy of mine.  The only problem is that an every-other-week league I'm in bowls that Saturday.  If the times and distances are compatible, I'm going to get in the Old Timer's.

I know that an entry blank and schedule is in our free local bowling newspaper, the Bowler's Digest, but I haven't had a chance to look at it yet and I left it at work, where my computer has been down for days.  If no one has posted the schedule by tomorrow night when I get home, I'll post some info about it then.

Note to those interested:  The Old Timer's Tournament requires a minimum age of 40, and that you have been "involved with bowling for at least 25 years," whatever that means.  The tournament bowls under a "moral support sanction," once again whatever that means.

Since we are telling our ages, I'll be 38 on November 2.

Nic,
Where are you bowling?  Is it Thunderbowl Lanes?  How long will you be in the area?

Jeff,
Keep the snow away?  Why do you live in the North?  It's all about putting the summer boats and bikes away and getting out the snowmobiles.

38 Feb 21st!.......Clutch....good point....get the sleds out baby! ...wait,...I don't have a sled !

a rough schedule is "open Friday night"

breakfast at Thunder bowl Saturday morning bowl the Old Timers in the afternoon and then Canada Saturday night and then at Waynes on Sunday.  But I'll get a good schedule.  I'm not bowling with them Friday afternoon at Sterling, I'm flying in at 6:30 Friday night.

My work computer is back up.  According to the ad, it looks like the Old Timer's tournament has two shifts--you can take bowling at 9:30 a.m. with no banquet after, or bowling at 1:00 p.m. with a banquet after.  I'm not quite enough of an old timer yet myself to be interested in bowling at 9:30 in the morning, so I'm going to go for the 1:00 shift.  Sounds like this is Nicanor's shift.  If I skip the banquet after, I should be able to make it to my evening league.

For anyone who is interested but doesn't have the Bowler's Digest with the ad or an entry blank, it lists the contact person as John Chmelko (Secretary), 25530 Van Dyke, Center Line MI  48015.  Phone numbers are 586-756-3240 (day) or 586-755-3838 (evening).

The tournament is at Thunderbowl in Allen Park.

Bummer.

I've been bowling 30 years including junior leagues (AJBC) but won't be 40 till December
