They are also available at W. W. Grainger as pads or in a full roll.

Home depot or lowes should have them. Most likely any Autobody supply store also.

Most auto parts stores have them, I know I can walk in NAPA in my town and pick up the big sheets of them and they are really cheap.

Remember, there is two different Grey pads. A dark grey and a light grey. They are two different grits.

Dark grey is much rougher (around 150 grit). Light grey is 800 grit US/CAMI, the one we talk about so much here.

3M Scotch Brite Nylon Pads:
7445 - White pad, called Light Duty Cleansing - (1000) 1200-1500 grit
7448 - Light Grey, called Ultra Fine Hand - (600-800) 800 grit.
6448 - Green (?), called Light Duty Hand Pad - (600) 600 grit
7447 - Maroon pad, called General Purpose Hand - (320-400) 320 grit
6444 - Brown pad, called Extra Duty Hand - (280-320) 240 grit
7446 - Dark Grey pad, called Blending Pad (180-220) 150 grit
7440 - Tan pad, called Heavy Duty Hand Pad - (120-150) 60(?)
(The value inside the parentheses is directly from 3M.)

also the 6448 green pad also comes in a grayish color..I have seen a 6448 green and a 6448 dark gray/green.. I believe the green is more household/retail version.. the gray is industrial.
The 7446 dark gray pad that Charlest is talking about has very seperated strans and is very course..

This lists and shows them all.. with pics..
The pic on the 7446 is off though.. The one I got, the pad was about 3/4 to an inch thick and very loose weave and course..
use this and the list I posted and you should be able to find what you need..
