Hada tape

Is there a difference in the thickness of the 4 types or just a difference in texture ? Been using it for about a month now and really like it.

The different numbers correlate to how slick they are, lower the number the faster the ball is going to want to come off your hand, the higher the slower.

Yes.
In addition to the roughness, the rougher ones are also thicker than the smoother ones.

John, I use the blue and red (pre-cut) Hada tape. The red tape is slightly thicker than the blue.

Seems like ever since we went from summer to winter (there was no Fall) my thumb holes have gotten bigger ( or thumb smaller). So I tried all 4 and have liked the result . Thumb no feels snug but no problem with release. I know that each has their own texture but was just wondering if there any difference in thickness. Will measure with my caliper.

Your thumb has gotten smaller. In summer, your hand is going to swell more due to the heat.

So, I measured all 4 tapes with a caliper and they were pretty much all the same in thickness.
