Are you allowed to throw a ball without any holes?  Just a 2 handed throw?

2ndly if you are, are you allowed to wear gloves to have greater traction?

just a curiousity question and if anyone has tried this?
--------------------
High game 300, 298(no middle finger) 290, 290(no middle finger)
2 handed (279) 710
High series 804
High triplicate 774
High average 221
best game. when I was 6 I bowled a 158

I have a 16# morich awesome finish I want to trade.  1 season on it.    I am looking for 15# stuff

If you don't have a normal grip (two fingers, one thumb), the ball has to balance within one ounce in any direction.  Since there isn't a normal left/right side, finger/thumb, or top/bottom of the ball, they kinda err on the low side.  The least amount of allowable weight is one ounce of finger/thumb/side, that's the standard for balls drilled with "too few" holes.

One ounce in any direction.
