Hang Spot Adjustment

Right handed bowlers:

What should the standard adjustment be to reach the pocket when a hang spot develops down lane (say 8-10 board range)?

There isn't a standard move.

Lately on tougher patterns I've had a good look making a parallel move inside. Shorter patterns try to go further outside.

On a house shot for me, it depends on the pattern length and amount of oil in the middle of the lane.

I always check in practice what kind of move is available, just for an idea. I throw a couple in side of my preferred line, couple outside.

I’ve seen some houses, going outside doesn’t work, just too much friction. Others complete opposite.
