Love this story

Hey guys I thought I would share this story last night were bowling in a league me and my g/f well she leaves right before the start of the game and returns a short time later??  Im like hey there were did you go she like oh to ask the proshop owner if hes doing a tournment this weekend.. nothing unusualy we bowl tounrey with him all the time..  About the 2nd game the guy shawn from the proshop comes out and give me this new bowl says my g/f bought it for me.. It was the rising sluged and finger inserts I always wanted that ball but at a 219 price tag i couldnt afford it right now..

See!  Some women DO get it!  Your girlfriend sounds like a keeper.

I did something similar for my husband last summer.  I was getting new grips in my spare ball, and the pro shop was clearing out some stock.  He had always wanted to try Lane 1, and when he got home from work, I had an Evolution and a Nebula waiting for him.  Sad end to this story, though ... he's now decided he wants to throw nothing but Lane 1, and I doubt I'll find another good sale for the next purchase.

I would say a keeper there. My wife bought me a ball shortly after we started dating, still have the ball today but don't use it.

My wife bought me a ball a long time ago, a nice, shiny, brand new blue pearl hammer!

  My mistake was to get rid of it about a year later and she found out.  I didn't really think about it at the time, but she has NEVER even acted like she was gonna buy me another one, PERIOD. ( no pun intended )
