Help on oil change
« on: February 19, 2006, 12:50:31 AM »
Hi,
The center i use to play just change the oil which has a lower viscidity.
Lane carry down and get dry faster than before.

Any suggestion to handle this lane condition.
Should i polish my ball to save more energy?

I had the same problem, what i did was bul a polished low flare bowling ball and if noone played from my part of the lane i could stay in a zone for 5-6 games...

No you just need to make a circle with your feet.  Line up....strike, strike  then carry down....10 pin move a scootch right (outside) strike, 10 pin....move a scootch more right then strike, 4 pin.....move left strike, strike, 4 pin....move left    etc........

Also watch the other players on your pair.  If there's some talent there that is.  And if they start coming in low with the carry down, anticipate the move.  Likewise....if they start coming in high let them be the first ones to go through the nose, anticipate the transition.

Or you could be on our lanes where carry down never stops.  YOu only move right all night, lanes never bread down they just get oilier and less and less backend reaction.
