What weight of houseball do you play?
e.g. if you play 13lbs ... buy a 14lbs or a more heavy 14 cause the fit-to-drill-layout will make the ball "lighter" or more exactly... a good drilled and fitting ball doesn't need as much power to hold and swing it

I would suggest starting out with a midrange or beginner reactive ball like:
Storm: Tropical Line
Ebonite: Tornado/Tornado Warning Line
Brunswick: BVP Line
Columbia... no plan about their balls

Keep away from the more expensive Brands unless you have a good game. I made the misstake buying a very expensive ball just to find out it didn't suit me and my game was bad and I need to do some changes and then I found the ball not fitting anymore.

My 0.02 €urocents

Check out my Vid in my profile.. just short clips cut together about how I bowled and how I play today

and by the way... I am a "Fritz" a "Jerry"... I am from Germany! (And please don't call me Kraut! Cause then I call you Dumbarse)
