15 to 16lb?
« on: October 05, 2009, 03:14:28 PM »
i currently throw 15 but im getting ready to drill new stuff, and im thinking of going to 16. i throw the ball at about 18-20mph with 500-525 revs and want to bring it down some. im fairly smooth when releasing the ball, i see a lot of guys that just jack on it at the bottom of the swing, would going to 16lbs help me or hurt me?

Try drill one ball and see if you can handle 16.

If your rev rate and speed aren't inflated I wouldn't go up in weight.  It's going to effect ball speed a lot more than rev rate.  16-17 mph and 500+ rev rate is going to be hard to keep on the lane.
