Title: High track/Pin below ring
Post by: Zach M on February 29, 2008, 06:47:18 AM
I have a high track that barely clips the thumb hole.  I just had a Special Agent drilled with the pin under the ring.  I now have a really weird track on the S.A.  It hits great, but doesn't hook early like I thought that drilling is supposed to do.  Thanks for all responces,

Zach

Zach,

Pin under doesn't guarantee the ball will hook early. Surface prep and coverstock will dictate the length of the ball. Pin up vs Pin down will deal with how the ball responds to friction in the backend of the lane.

I have attached a link to the Brunswick Insider page that Rick Benoit explains this on.
