Ball suggestion?
« on: July 08, 2010, 06:17:39 AM »
I need a suggestion for a ball for a low-tracker (almost spinner).  Any company, preferably not too spendy.  If wt. is a concern, 16 pounds.  thanks.

a suggestion.

BTW, the guy who will use this has, currently, a Brunswick Zone (yes, his equipment is old).

Henry,

Normally, for a spinner, you just make sure the pin is low and in a relatively high flaring position. Price-wise, the new 900Global Missing Link Black/Red Solid seems a relative inexpensive choice for strong-ish ball. BTM review said its best oil pattern was heavy oil, but it has a 2000 Abralon dull surface, so you can easily  go rougher (1000 or 1500 grit Abralon) for an earlier roll and finer (4000 grit Abralon) for a later hook.

Buddies has them for $78.95 delivered.
