Title: highs and lows
Post by: bowling9883 on October 14, 2005, 04:51:13 AM
Last week in league I shot a 708 series (226,257,225). I had the whole lane in a sense. I could swing the ball to the outside and have it come back or I could play the inside and get a strong powerful and consistent strike shot. The inside is my favorite line and when it's there, I shoot big. This week, the inside was virtually unplayable because of the inside not being as dry. I had to play the outside line. I had to swing the ball to the outside or throw it hard with forward roll down the outside. It took me one game to find the line and I was punished with a poor first game of 193. I then followed that game with a 215 and a 210. I finished with 618 and was actually quite relieved and satisfied with my performance even if i didn't even hit 650. Do you ever feel really satisfied after averaging 206 on a tough lane condition even if you didn't bowl your best? The 700's will come every now and then but I was greatly happy with how i can out of my first game.

great bowlers are the ones who don't fall too far behind on a tough lane condition
