How you look at it?
« on: December 15, 2008, 02:49:49 PM »
I shot 177, 130, 289...
For a big 596!

My teammates were (of course) razzing me...

"You didn't make 600 with a 289?"

My reply: "I had 300 after 2 and made close to 600!?

It's all in your perspective.

My doubles partner shot 201-255-180....
We lost doubles by 1 pin.

Our team is not doing well....Ithink it's all in the attitude?

last friday i went 141-207-276

consistency baby

so my perspective is i shot 620 after shooting 140 the first game

and the first time i ever shot 600 i went 278-128-194
so i shot 600 with a 128

and the 278 was with the last 11 lol

That's a century and a half award, baby. Not many can (or would want to ) lay claim to that!

Its definitely in the attitude.

Last night I shot 160-193-236 for a 589.  I threw the ball better lastnight than I have all season, including when I shot my 299.  They score isn't there, but I feel better with the way that I am throwing the ball, so I can't be upset.

The rest of my team bowled well too, and we got our shorts blown off.  Bowled against a team that we had to give 130 pins a game to and then 3 of them had career nights.  They had a couple guys who get 70 pins per game each (league cap) each throw a couple games over 180 scratch.  Not a whole lot you can do in that case.

We all felt like we bowled well....just got throttled....it hurts a bit cause next week is position round and until the last couple weeks, we were in 2nd place.

Attitude has a lot to do with it...if you threw the ball well and just couldn't score, focus on the positives and move on.
