Bowling in Mississippi
« on: April 11, 2018, 09:55:59 AM »
I will be spending some time in the Biloxi, MS, area and was wondering what the bowling scene was like.  I am looking for information about local tournaments and short term leagues.

Thank you for any information you can provide.

Right now the Double diamond tournament is going on.  You can pretty much bowl singles and doubles every weekend with brackets if you want.

To my knowledge there is no center directly in Biloxi other than the lanes on the Kessler military base.
There was Island Strike Lanes in Gulfport, MS, but I believe they are now closed.
The main center in the Biloxi area is Cypress Lanes in Diberville, MS.  This is a very good house and the one I usually bowl at when I'm in Biloxi visiting the casinos.
You can also check out  Spanish Trails Lanes in Gautier, MS which is I believe is about 20 miles east of Biloxi.  It's a older house, but the lanes always play good for me when I bowl there.
