50K

Is my guess mainly because you'll need more than just the lanes and pinsetters.

Don't forget pins, spare parts, oiler and various misc. supplies.

Also a  100 ft length would be a plus.

money wise I bet it would be a lot cheaper to try and find a old center that is getting rid of things and to just buy their old equipment.

A few years back, Brunswick would estimate  ( no land or building ) that it would cost $25,000 - $55,000 per lane, installed, no freight included.

Why?  You have a structural, and a mechanical side to it.  Pinsetters and ball returns aren't exactly cheap.  How much do you think it should cost?

umm ., well for a nice Home setup ... 25 grand.. The most  important thing is the lanes and having them leveled and worked in right.. Im a carpenter  so I can tell you its not hard to level a few lanes with a laser...  and a good pinsetter is what ? 5 grand ?

5 grand sounds cheap, but going with that...that's 10k just to start.  Then you have all the other materials involved, lanes, concrete, ball returns, scoring computers, etc.  Then the labor.  I don't think all that can be done for $15k.

A couple of years ago, we had to have the back staircases at my condo building repaired.  It cost $15k just to fix the railings for 4 staircases (that was the cheapest of 3 estimates), and they used less materials than 2 bowling lanes would require.

haha you would be amazed in the construction world in what things cost.. Stairs are not cheap, but are terribly easy to build.. go figure

AS far as the lanes go , I meant 25k per lane, MAX, So I was thinking maybe 40k or so for 2 lanes.. Which is why when 80k was said it seemed off. but no doubt possible, depending on how fancy and hi end you want everythin Im sure a single lane could easily cost 50 grand..

There's more to it than just leveling. You've got to lay a base under the lane, in order to deal with the impacts 1st, which needs to be leveled. Then the synthetic goes onto, and once again, level it. The gutters, and pindeck materials. Sidewalls, pinsetter, ball return, Pins, oil, oil machine (unless you're into the old spray mop and broom method).

I believe with used pinsetter, lanebeds etc you were looking in the 50k range. With new you're in the 80-100k range.

15 years ago, we try to buy some lanes to send back to China, Burnswick cost about 45K per pair included the lane, computer and monitor.( no included shipping cost.) some rebulid model costs about 30K per pair. When you order those lanes, they will send you a technician to teach you how to build and set up, but you need to hire there guys or you own to build it.

I priced it a while back and it was roughly 100k for a pair installed with scoring.  Oil machine is about 20 - 30k more, if purchased new.
