The "REAL" Bowler
« on: August 17, 2004, 05:53:50 AM »
This thought occured to me a few nights ago. After meeting a lot of bowlers, youth and adult. I noticed something.

There are two types of bowlers:

1. There are the bowlers who continue to bowl the same way. They never try to improve thier game, or work on anything, they just keep everything the same way when they bowl. Even when they practice, they just shoot for high games, and wont work on any aspect of their games.

2. Then you have the bowler who is constantly trying to improve. Always trying new things to see if they work better than something previously. When they do practice, they dont care about score, but rather care about the designated goal they chose for that little practice session.

I'm the #2 type. Basically, if you came to a bowling forum, your the #2 type of bowler. The #1 bowler would never even care to find anything for bowling online other than to buy new equipment that goes long and sucks.

What do you think of my theory? Am I missing any types here?

Hmmm....I seem to recall this post.  Shouldn't you give copyright credit to Sawbones?
