How would our game change if.....
« on: September 16, 2003, 09:29:04 AM »
We have had the debate on how easy the game is now with the new balls, and the rest of the game not keeping up. As i was sitting in the car on the way home from uni i thought of something, something new that would make the game even EASIER.

What would happen if some company who manufactured the oil for the lanes put a colour addative in it, so we would SEE where the oil is when we bowl??? In addition to that, the heavier the oil, the more deep the color. For example, if it was a red, the light oil on the outsides would be near pink, where as in the middle of the lane it would be a deep royal red. We would SEE the lanes carrying down. We could see where the track area is. AND we could see where our last ball path was. I dunno about anyone else, but if this happens to our game, i will be the first to leave.

Its probably been discussed on here befor, but i cant remember it. SO, what does everyone think of this idea? Would it make our game easier, or would it make us think more and confuse the hell out of us.  Or would it just make more of a joke of bowling??

(ide like to take the opportunity to appologise to bowlers world wide if some company comes along and steals the idea and acutally does it)

Thoughts?
Good luck and high scoring
matt

I think is a GREAT idea since we'd be able to see just how much oil a ball has absorbed. Suppose they were using red coloured oil. If your Mutant was starting to turn purple, then you'd know its time for some deep cleaning. Wouldn't it be cool to see your purple mutant turn blue again after using some Clean N' Dull?
