Title: Hy-Road with surface?
Post by: Juggernaut on June 13, 2019, 11:05:40 AM
The house has changed the pattern. Not sure what they changed, but the stuff that was working in around 12-15 now goes dart straight in there.

Still got my Hy-Road in the closet. It is polished up right now. What has been the results for those of you who have changed the surface on your Hy Road balls?

Was thinking of going 500/1500 on it to see what gives.

 Good idea, or nay?

I also have a Wreck-em, a Black Quantum, and a 14lb Impulse solid available to me.

Actually sounds like a good idea to me. All them Hy-Roads are money pieces! My teammate throws a Hy-Road with just a little surface from outside, down and in.

When there's a puddle in the middle, he just slows it down, just a tad and carries all day!

The less polished my hyroad get the better it is...

Have no fears, Change the surface!

I love the Hy-Road with surface. I would go 2000 when I saw usual oil or 1000 when I saw a lot of volume in the middle with extreme dry to the right. Blends the cliff really well and extremely predictable.

When I had my Hy-Road, it took surface changes with no problem.  In my case, I usually went with 2000 and ended up with good predictability.
