I have a friend who cannot give her 2 children christmas
because of a serious illness, and a cheating hubby she cannot
work to provide gifts for them. This was the reason for trying to
sell the 3 balls I had listed earlier this week. I sold 2 of them.
With that small amount we got she was able to buy one gift for each
of them. I am asking my ballreviews family (thats what my wife calls
it since i am on here about 4 hours a day) to send a small
donation to us so we can try to help her out. She does not
even have a tree. I know none of you know me but I will put my right
hand on a bible and swear this is not a scam. I am not financially
able to spend helping her out and have seen generous people on here
helping out in any way they could so I am asking my other family.

only looking for $50 to $75 total, just enough to get them a few small
gifts so they do not feel as though Saint Nick forgot about them.

It is nice to know there are people out there that will spend a few bucks
on a complete stranger. I will try to get photos of the stuff we buy for them.

UPDATE:
We went out in this snow today and got her a tree and took it
while no one was home and set it up and decorated it. It was
cold as hell out but I had this warm fuzzy feeling inside, this
being the first time I have ever stepped up and helped someone
in this manner. You guys are making it all possible. I will
lock this topic when messages stop coming in, probably
will keep it up until Sunday the 21st and do the shopping Monday
evening after bowling.

I am to send along a hug from them to each person who has helped out.
Remember we are not closing the post till Sunday the 21st of Dec. We will go shopping the next day. So if you want to help out just let us know. Every bit helps.

you sure don't see the "non-buzzsaw" chuckers doing something nice like this!!  

not only are lane#1 balls the best, but so are their bowlers!!

While that does seem to be holding true, maybe it is just that we are the bigger
junkies that have nothing better to do because we are almost broke from buying our saws. I do notice a very defined decrease in user activity during the weekend. Hopefully we can get a few more donations during the week.


That is not what this post is about. This post is about helping one of my friends out.

I also do not think he was out of line posting what he did, I would venture
to guess he was trying to drum up a few more donations for my friend

just to update everyone. we have asked the boys mom to make a list of a few things the boys want and need . we are off to go shopping after league monday night . i am gonna try to get the pics posted on or around christmas day .
the boys want to know if the elves are watching them . thier mom told them they sure are they are looking out for us . the 9 year old has wrote a letter to santa and the elves thanking them for the tree and making his mom so happy and letting them have christmas .

thank you to all that are helping and are going to help .
we could not have made this miracle work with out ball reviews and its members help .
again many thanks to you all!!!!!!!!!!!

just wanted you to know that you put a smile on my face thinking about your friend and her two children.  you deserve alot of credit during this season of giving and remembrance . . . for having gone out of your way to help this family in need.

i hope that you efforts will make this a christmas that those two children will remember throughout their lives!
