I need a heavy oil ball.

I am about a 180 average bowler.  I put very low revs on my ball and throw it about 16 mph.  I have just joined the University of Tennessee bowling team and will be going to tournaments with very heavy oil.  I need a ball that will hook in this oil.  I am currently looking at the Throttle, Phenom, and Fear Factor.  If you know which one of these balls would work best for me, or if you know of any other balls you would suggest, and also any kind of drilling pattern you would suggest, I would greatly appreciate it.  Thanks in advance.

I just got the Fear Factor, and my wife just got a Phenom, and they are both fantastic oil balls with a great weight block inside.  I'm not saying anything bad about the Throttle, just haven't used it.  The Phenom may hook a bit sooner for you than the Fear Factor, but either of these two balls will provide enough angle to carry on the soup.  Good luck with the Vols!

I'd suggest the Fear Factor then, if you've got softer speed.  It'll still hook with the best of them, just get better length.  The Phenom has the recovery also, they're both incredible balls.  I wouldn't think you could go wrong with either of them.  The Throttle is an alright ball, I don't think it will have the backend for you though, it's too even rolling.

www.buddiesproshop.com has 14lb Vicious Paricles for 104 to your door.  You won't find a better deal than that.
