I need some help
« on: September 17, 2003, 09:35:08 AM »
I'm bowling nowadays and for reason I cant carry jack anymore.I need some help on drill patterns for myself.Ive drilled allot of my stuff with my pin above or to the right of my ring finger and CG near my midline.Right now I'm throwing all brunswick gear and my problem is even with all my hand and ball speed I cant create area can always get to the pocket buy my carry is horrible I either leave a light ten,a heavy ten or a 4 pin with everything I throw.I just would like someone to give me some drilling ideas I could use.
My axis point is 5> and 1/4up and I got about 60 degree's of tilt.
PLZ someone help if i cant start carrying im gonna quit so PLZ help

What are you using on what type of condition.

Often all sorts of corners is indicative of not enough surface or too much surface on the conditions you are bowling on.  Causing your breakpoint to be too early or late on the lanes.

It sounds like you have too much ball speed. A different drilling/layout(for an earlier roll), more surface, less tilt, a different ball and/or slowing the ball down will help.

As you can see, you are throwing the ball, instead of rollng it and letting the ball do the work. =:^D
