Cubs won the WS. He's been on a non-stop bender ever since. Can't blame him... you see Halley's Comet more often than a Cubs WS title!

JLS, having had chemo 4 different times myself , as well as radiation 5 day a week for 6 weeks,I know what you are going thru. I pray for recovery for you. Was that 11.97 reading your CEA? My CEA was originally 17.0, then thru chemo and and radiation it was reduced to 2.5 (.0 to 5.0 is normal). However it started increasing again after about a year. My last reading 4 weeks ago was 1998.o and I am now under the care of Hospice.

The last part of this thread has certainly put things into perspective. Bowling is bowling, but life is life.
We all belong to one huge human family. The feelings felt and expressed here for our fellow bowlers are real and their importance will always outweigh last week's scores or this month's favorite ball.
jls, I'm glad that you seem to be doing well and I'm envious of all that golf.
Brickguy, I wish you comfort, and hopefully recovery, but if that's not in the plan then we here at BR care about you and wish you lots of "strikes" in your next journey. Godspeed.

Best wishes Brick!
