Looking for a medium to dry lane ball.....

similar to the Ebonite Fire...I know this ball is old but i love the reaction i get out of it....Goes long and snaps hard in the back....Maybe a something that goes a lil longer? andy suggestions?

Yeah the Bash is excellent. I have one drilled pin up, and its perfect. Just keep it polished and it is perfect for what your looking for.

The newer Black and Red Bash from what I hear is even weaker than the original. I have the original one, and I love mine.

I think I'm going to have a Burgandy Hammer drilled up at my local pro shop though, I wonder how that will react.

Don't forget......the burgandy Hammer was the heavy oil piece of it's day, so you will really have to play with the cover somewhat to get the exact reaction you are looking for.

I've had two, and when I polished one for use on a medium dry lane, it was a little over/under.So keep tweaking it.

Looks like i might have to look into gettin the Bash then.  The one with the Ice Core.  What about any columbia equipment?  Thanks for the feedback..i havent bought a ball since the Fire....lol

I think the new Jazz is somewhat similar to the Bash, in general. Not many people here talked about this ball at all. BTM found it to be in the category that you're looking fo I haven't tried it myself. But if you're looking for a Columbia ball in that category, I think that's your only choice. (I'd lean towards the Bash myself.)
