Funniest Ive seen was one of the public decided he should have had a strike and he swung his foot towards the pins. His shoes were house shoes and not tied properly. His shoe came off and flew down the opposite lane.
He had to get one of the technicians to go and fetch it.
Second best was my brother. Hes a short guy only just over 5 feet. He'd bowled all night and no matter how he threw it, he left a pin. Well he threw his last ball and was last on the lanes. He then walked down the lane with everyone watching and proceded to kick over every pin on the deck. It looked so funny with his little legs no bigger than the pins, kicking them all over. I know it was done in jest but he was mad....
Also good job the lights and pinsetters were switched off.
Worst display of bad sportsmanship was when one of the players who won the doubles league was playing bottom of the league. The lady from the bottom team only needed a spare to win the game and the overall score for a big shock. She was on the lane just starting her approach when he picked up both his balls and dropped them on the concrete floor from shoulder height, behind her making a huge bang.
Luckily she picked up the spare. Bad sportsmanship at its best.
