What's Hot?
« on: August 20, 2005, 11:11:29 PM »
Due to some family matters( divorce, mom's death, relocation) I haven't been around much since the first of the year. Time to start getting back on track with my bowling game and was just wondering what balls have come out that everyone is raving about? Will most likely buy 2 for the beggining of the 2005-2006 season. I will mostly be looking in the mid price range unless something in the higher price range is out there that I just can't pass up. My A game is a stroker with medium ball speed but I can move in and swing it a little. Not really looking to fill a specific gap in my arsenal, just wondering what has come out that's really turning heads. Thanks for your help.

Have a look at these:

Storm
Diablo, Ragin' Banshee, Trifecta

Ebonite
V2 Power, Puma, XXXcel, Big Time Pearl

Hammer
Vibe, Razor Blade, Hawg

Track
Solution Power Plus EX, Desert Heat

Columbia
EXP T1, Dr Jekyll, Power Drive

Roto
Epic

Brunswick
Smokin Inferno, Rampage

Not saying there's not more, just the ones I think will be hot balls once folks start looking for replacements.
Good Luck.

Those two are also good ones. Some folks say I "over push" Ebonite/Hammer, so I was limiting my response, sorry to have left them out..

Don't take my list as "only good ones listed"...these are JMO..nothing more.

if there was ever a time to try a brunswick ball that time is now. there has never been a time when their lineup was this good----all the way from plastic balls to high performance balls and everything in between. back in the spring i spoke with rick benoit of brunswick and he told me that if you had to get one ball make sure it was the absolute inferno---and he was right. hundreds of these were drilled up on the pba tour last spring. tom tomaras and rich hamlin
of brunswick were at the mini-eliminator this summer and they drilled up hundreds of absolute infernos, smokin' infernos, and rampages. try one----you won't be dissappointed.
