Post by: JAD on February 14, 2011, 11:43:41 PM
Looking for some advise on how to attack the Kegel Highway to Hell pattern
My ball speed 16 to 17 revs 300 to 350.

In our challenge league over the summer I saw two distinct lines show up. Up 10-12 with 2000 abralon-ish equipment with very little belly 'cause unless you're tossing charcoal you're gonna bruise the 3-6 area.....or, for those with more hand, a little left (5-8 boards starting & three @ breakpoint) of that area with aggressive solids w/a little shine. As the games progressed, there was a very nice little area that opened up for me playing 17-9 with a breakpoint around the second rangefinder.

John,
take this with a grain of salt, if you would increase you ball weight to 12 lbs your ball speed would drop somewhat, ball would read sooner, and your carry would be better. Just a grain of salt my friend.

I like the 12lb ball idea. I personally used a 13 lb On-The-Ball bowling custom design that I had engraved with grooves in a spiral pattern across 5th arrow. As long as the ball started out directly at the pocket it would most likely get there.
