I am pretty sure they started doing the ebay thing as I have seen some auctions that used the same format. I could be wrong.

As far as I know they're still at the same site, they just updated it a bit.

Vinny no longer runs usedbowlingballs.com.  This is where Vinny now sells. He sold one pro shop and opened another in a newly refurbished center.
