League Average

What is your league average?  My Monday scratch league average is 207 after 11 weeks.  I'm sad to say I am currently below average at 206.

Last years average: 176
This year (8 games ) 164 ... far beyond.. err... under my expectations

My training-average (all games in training) is 177 right now

My goal is at least break the 180 and maybe hit the 190 or 200...

Finished last year at 179, currently at 187 after 11 weeks, though I've dropped 7 pins in the past two weeks.  I got moved to the anchor spot, and it's a bit of an adjustment.    If I keep dropping, I'll get myself moved back to leadoff!

I think mvas800 meant the average of the entire league. mvas800 stated that he was below the league average.

The average of the league I'm in is right around 200. I'm at 206.

Oh!  Well in that case, it looks like the league average is 174.3769231, and I'm still at 167!

I don't know the "true" league average as I'm not about to calculate it for everybody in the league.  We have 5 person teams, but up to 7 on the roster.  With 26 teams we can have up to 182.  

I just took the 26 team averages and divided by 130.  I don't know how BLS determines the team average - might just be the first 5 people on the roster.

Thanks Hogsharley, Thats what I meant.  I guess I didn't word it correctly.  
Our secretary uses leaguesecretary.com to kept track of our league.  It has all the stats.  I thought maybe your secretaries also used similar software.

On a side note, thankfully, after a change in managers, the last 4 weeks of saturdays (12 in total)we've had fresh oil for our league instead of the burnt-up/spotty "party lanes" Nice!!!

Tuesday at New London only 206 I had 470 the first week and 530 then Ballreviews Scratch doubles sstarted and I have started bowling well

Thursdays I have 12 games in as a sub at Super Bowl averagins something like 225.

Friday I average high 22s or more after my 772 two weeks ago

Who cares league averages are over rated

Wolf River Non Pro average:214 (maybe a little less after this past sunday I got spanked)

Havn't bowled in a league in a while last one was a 187 avg which stunk because I had a "slump" for about a month that brought me down, was about a 200 avg. Now that I just bowl in tournys my avg in those are about 260 or so and won the past 3 in a row. So avg doesn't do my bowling any justice...lol
