League using PBA Patterns
« on: July 06, 2011, 01:27:16 AM »
Can I still create a league that uses PBA Patterns or Sport Patterns and NOT be a SPORT LEAGUE?

I want to setup  a league this fall using 4 patterns. (USBC Masters, Earl Anthony, Dick Weber, and U.S Open). I can't officially make it a Sport League. The center we bowl at isn't regestered. I know there some guys in my area looking for challenge. Just want it to be sanctioned. Even though we won't get SPORT AWARDS it still would be nice for someone to receive an award if they shoot a 300 game or 800 series.

Was looking at USBC sight and it states:

Effective November 1, 2010, USBC no longer has the right to offer Sport Bowling leagues that use PBA patterns or trademarks.

As a Sport Bowling alternative to PBA Experience leagues, USBC will offer Team USA Experience leagues. Rather than the PBA patterns, the Team USA Experience leagues feature the 12 World Tenpin Bowling Association, Sport compliant patterns Team USA competes on internationally.

Click "edit reply". Click on the image you copied into your text.  An outline box should show up.  Like a table, you should be able to grab the edges and corners and re size it.  Use the "preview" tab/pane at the bottom of your typing field (right above the click box for your signature) to see if it's right before resubmitting.
