Title: Left the Lily last night!
Post by: nospareball on April 23, 2008, 01:36:32 PM
That's right, got a little fast with my feet, and hit the pocket a little light and had the 5-7-10 staring back at me.    The 5 was either off spot, or the ball nicked it as it went by because it was moved over to the left about 2 boards.

It was the third time in my 22 years of bowling that I've left it.

How many did you get on the spare attempt?

You know what they say... no drive, no five!

I almost left one recently. I actually left it, but caught a messenger to take out the 5-7. It was pretty odd to say the least.

In my Tuesday men's league this week, two different guys left it, both bowling on the same pair. They caught a lot of grief to say the very least.
