The true cheater ball has arrived

As if putting bumpers up were not teaching bad habits, now we officially have a "remote controlled bowling ball". Course it costs only $1500

I could actually see myself using this as a training aid for almost anyone that is learning to throw a hook. if of course it has the ability to stop midline and start up again....  it could very easily teach breakoints and such

Only 1 big problem with this being a true "cheater" ball, its not legal for leauge or tournament play. BTW, this is old news about this remote control ball.

The target audience for that ball is bowling centers to rent during little kid birthday parties and people with disabilities who might not otherwise be able to bowl.

It's only cheating if it could be used in some sort of competition, which it can't be.  And like Mike said, it's been out for a while.

This thing looks really fun.  I think this would make a great toy for parties, and teaching tool.  I would love to play with this little thing too, have a good time

I just found out that the house proshop might be ordering 1 of these remote control balls for party rentals and disability people. We might be able to use this for youth coaching but not 100% sure yet. Not sure if it will be a valuable coaching tool just yet but there is that possibility.
