Is bowling this hard for everyone?
« on: April 24, 2008, 12:57:29 PM »
So I practiced a lot tonight.  I probably bowled 10 games or so tonight and I've concluded that it's one of those things that look easy, but is really difficult.  The entire time, I had to tell myself to bend my knee, bring my arm straight up, hit my mark, etc, etc, etc.  I'm about a 140 average.  I've bowled 2 summer leagues in my lifetime.  I did get a 192 today.  That's one of my higher scores.  I did notice my pin count is improving.  I need to work on spares.

So, is bowling this difficult for everyone?

Oh...by the way...I did manage to beat 1oldhammer!  ha,ha

Bowling is an incredibly hard game, and the people who are the best at it have been working at it nearly every day for years.  There's a quote I got from somewhere that says "hitting a hole-in-one in golf is easier than rolling a 300 game in bowling."  Though it may not seem so now what with the powerful equipment and funneled oil patterns, its still true.
