I was wondering when is the season for new balls to come out in general

Twice a year. Ball expo, this year June 25-26 in Vegas. The second release is usually in January. This can differ by manufactuer. The norm is usually 6 months apart. Unless a company has a special release.

Motiv usually have a new ball out every other month and it's announced about 2-4 weeks after a new released makes it out to public. All other companies will have new balls out in January, March, June, August and September depending on the company.
