The Purple Stuff does it change the surface?
« on: May 01, 2017, 07:25:50 AM »
Hello bowling family,
I have been using The Purple Stuff for about a month. I usually use Vise cleaner and Extreme LMB. The problem that I am having is that since I have been using the purple stuff, my ball is not hooking at all(I have a huge hook). Hammer Scandal,Storm IQ tour and timeless. I am a two hander. Balls are maintained well and not even 3 months old.
Timeless being the oldest (got it the first day of release) and the others about two months old. Threw my friends viral solid  and track paradox and the ball hooked like normal and all he do is clean his ball with vise cleaner.
So should I just go to the shop and let them hit it oob(which I kept them all at)? Leave the purple stuff alone? I need all advice and thank you ahead of time.
My Weapons for WAR: 15LBS. Hammer Black Widow Gold, Storm IQ Tour, Storm Timeless, Storm Drive, Hammer Black Urethane, Hammer Gauntlet.  Gold Widow Spare

I have never used the stuff, but as it is approved for use any time, I doubt it changed the surface. It may have built up a layer, reducing ball surface to lane contact, causing your dead reaction. I would touch up the surface with an abrasive pad to see if that brings back the reaction. Then adjust surface to what you want after you see it the reaction comes back. I thought that stuff wore off after a few shots, or am I thinking of something else he put out?

TPS is just a cleaner like most others, I've used it and there's no build up anything.

If the ball balls haven't been surfaced in anyway since you got them ^^^^.

They most likely need the surface touched up.
