Looking for some advice
« on: February 15, 2009, 09:57:09 AM »
I'm finally back to bowling after about 2 months off due to surgery on my bowling thumb.  I really love to bowl and it really stinks just being able to watch.

Wed night I start out 224-244; Friday I went 280 (ten pin!)-219.  Each night in the third game the wheels fell off and I dropped to 178 on Wed, 166 on Friday. On Friday I was looking at a possible 257 in game 2 (197 in the 8th with a stike in the 9th) but threw the big four the first ball in the tenth. I noticed on both nights that I started coming up high toward the end of game two, but nothing too dramatic.  I lost all carry in game 3 and felt like I had no idea what I was doing.  One thing that worked to some degree, but I tried it too late, was flattening my hand a little and putting less hand in the ball.

Here's my question, should I polish something (I have some Beans sauce) to make it go longer, try throwing a little harder, or something else?  I take the following balls with me (all 16lbs): Twisted Fury Pearl, Smash Time, an orignal Fury, and am picking up a Sauce tomorrow or Tuesday.  Other options include an Absoulte Inferno and an original Ultimate Inferno.

I'm open to some ideas.
