Magic Carpet Gathering Update
« on: June 06, 2005, 05:01:42 AM »
Here's the latest.  Thought I would try and consolidate everything down and find it in one place.

Ball Reviews / Bowl 4 Fun.com gathering July 22-24

Here is a Yahoo map of where Creekside Lanes is located.
http://maps.yahoo.com/maps_result?addr=1450+trademart+blvd&csz=winston+salem%2Cnc&country=us&new=1&name=&qty=

The hotel I suggest is Extended Stay America. It is clean and cheap!
Use the Winston Salem / Hanes Mall location.
You can find it on www.extendedstayamerica.com for a map. It just one exit from the bowling center.

I arrive Friday afternoon, and after pickin up StormTrack from the airport, will prolly roll a few games. I would like to do the scotch doubles, bbut I think the lack O' ladies is gonna hinder that. But, if any ladies wanna bowl, just let me know. Also, need to know a good pub/bar in that area, cause one of the nights I'm gettin tore-up from the floor-up! Till then,

Unless Ron has me partnered up with some one, I am an unattached, lefty female...I'll leave it at that.

Still unsure of my schedule.  Last I saw, no one had signed up to cover my vacation.  I'll still be there in the mid afternoon.  Looks like I'll be having a Coke while treating KOTM to a few beers.

Leave Leticia there, we'll take care of her and make sure she gets home.

Gee all you guys coming to my place????

Wow; I guess I better catch a plane today in Portland Oregon and get my butt back home.
Looking forward to seeing my old friends and making lots of new ones.

How many people are looking for help with their game?
As I have said before this is not a Ron Clifton 3 Day Bowling Clinic but I am willing to help folks all I can (as time permits). Keep in mind that I only help people that ask for help. Lots of folks never, ever want help from anyone and that’s just fine.

If I could get an idea of the number of people wanting help by posting here it will help me to plan my time.
If the number is big then I may try to do a more formal session on Saturday morning.

Ok off to catch the plane!
Everyone have a safe trip!

Saturday morning sounds fine.  As good as I am, probably 5-10 minutes should fix any little problem I may have.

Thongprincess on the other hand......

Big Willy even if I can't shoot scores in the triple digits you still want me for your partner?  Cool with me!

SrKegler remember I have been working with a real certified coach since February, not just a high scoring lefty like before  But if there is time I can always use help from Ron.    And I think you actually meant to write hours not minutes there SrKegler

LindaP and I will be leaving Wednesday and will do some relative visiting in Charlotte before coming to WS to arrive around noon Friday.  Will probably plan on getting a bite to eat at the center, as I remember it looked pretty good last year.

Ron - I'd appreciate it if you'd take a look at Linda to see how she's progressed since last year.  She's started using a Robby's Revs II and seems to be getting a little more on the ball.  As for me, I think I'm beyond help!!

Looking forward to seeing y'all, sorry I won't be able to stay any longer.  --  JohnP
