Title: Making a change
Post by: dogman666 on April 29, 2005, 12:13:12 AM
I've come to the conclusion that maybe a change in drilling would maybe benefit my scoring.  I've always had my balls drilled to go long and flip.  Not sure what my revs are but people have told me it's around 500.  I'm getting older so my speed isn't always up to snuff and it has a tendency to overeact.  My dry lane ball is a Storm Flash Point and my wet is a Complete Chaos.  The Chaos is just that....Chaotic.  I can send it to the 1 board with top speed and it roars back but it's very touchy as my speed varies.  What I would like to know is what kind of setup and ball selection would you recommend.  Bottom line is I'm losing far too much in pot games but I think I still have some skills.  I'm not a tech weenie about ball specs but that doesn't mean I can't write it down for my pro shop driller.  Thanks and if you need to know more, I'll be glad to oblige.

dogman, you're going to need more mid-lane...

bring the pin down a bit and kick the cg out towards pap, probably an axis hole on pap will help also to start it sooner and tame the back a bit so you're not so "chaotic"
