Man I Suck and My Team Is Last LOL

Well tonight was a weird night.  Not many strikes in a row.  Still averaged around 7 strike a game but kept bowling 190-200.  Nothing good, nothing bad.  First game, there appeared to be oil or my balls were cold from the snow.  There was no traction.  By the third game, I was standing around 30-35 (left) and throwing out to 2-3 board.  Still couldn't do s***.  My team starting off the 2nd half is 0-7 and in last place.  I'm pissed.  I think I should retire after this season.



P.S. I made all my 10 pins.

P.S.S. I left so many splits it was unbelievable - especially the 4-9.  My power is hurting my scores now.

Dont feel so bad!

Our team (after 2 weeks) is also in the cellar at 20-60. Leaders are at 71-9 &70-10.

Necro you make me laugh a little bit.

I bet ya if you added a new dimension to your game, called playing straight, you'd be better off.  Then again what do I know, I'm just a 10 board dumping, fluffing, lefty, with no skill.

I guess maybe there's something to the idea of "straighter is greater," despite your insistence that you must rev it up as much as humanly possible and hook the entire lane to strike?  If you can't get off the headpin, take some hand out of it.

Well it's obvious by looking at your tourney averages that you adjust very well when the lanes change. Or maybe not.

At least you made those darn 10 pins though.

Why are you sticking your balls in the snow?  You know they'll turn blue on you if you that long enough.  But that would be the start of your problems right there.

There was no traction the first game and I had to play at like 20 and out to 5.  By the third game I was going coast-to-coast literally LOL.  The other team thought I was going to throw it in the gutter because the ball was on the edge haha.

Also, I was striking a lot and getting only 190's because I never got anything more than a turkey all night and if I didn't strike I left splits.  I only had one 10 pin all night, several 7 pins (all made), rest pretty much splits (4-9, 4-7-9, 4-10, etc.).  The 4 pin always stays up LOL!

Obviously you needed to hit the ball return in frustration, buy another ball that hooks more and never move all night.  Closing your eyes helps, too.
