Where to go from here (equipment related)
« on: November 15, 2016, 01:19:04 PM »
My arsenal at this moment includes

Red Mission Unknown (pin in ring finger)
Hyper Cell-Skid (pin above ring finger)
Roto Grip Hectic (pin above ring finger kicked to right a bit)
No Rules (pin to right of ring finger, slightly higher than finger hole)
GameBreaker 2 (pin under ring finger)

In the house i bowl league in its not bad, i have a good bit of continuity.
This weekend i bowled travel league and i realized i don't have anything with the right surface and drilling that i can use when everything goes away. Im looking at drilling some things with different drillings and surfaces and not using them except for in travel league and tournaments in other centers. As im not taking 82 balls to league. I tend to gravitate towards ebonite and rotogrip more.

Any suggestions are welcome

"..when everything goes away"

IF this means what I think it means then I would think the Hectic would be you late game/get deep ball when the oil has been wrecked.

Might need to expand on where you think you need equipment based on what has been happening on the lanes in travel league. At the moment with what we know, we will just start suggesting our favorite balls that you don't already own haha.

Might want something with a really smooth reaction. When the shot goes away generally my best bet is getting something you have confidence in being predictable. I would recommend the 900 Global X or the !Q Tour Solid, the latter being more aggressive.

Gamebreaker II and IQ tour are similar in reaction.  Sounds like you are looking for something with a milder cover/core than what you have to get the ball through the fronts to stay out because you have equipment strong enough to move in.  Why not go with a boost, rhino or something like that?

With already having the Gamebreaker 2, I second the Boost suggestion or like a Storm Ride. Clean and not overly aggressive.
