yeah I saw the specials for the bowling balls.  Wonder how much the shops there are charging for drilling

You pay for the drilling when you pay for the ball(s) at the tournament office.  The cost is $100/ball and drilling (includes finger inserts & thumbslug) is $40/ball.  If you use a switch grip they will probably ding you $10 when you pick it up (post drilling).  FYI - if you pay with credit card, for the ball & drilling, they tack on 3%.

good to know, and yeah that's not a bad deal at all.  Might just bring 5 balls and drill up the Idol Pro
