Going to the Sauna was a bad idea.....
« on: June 02, 2003, 09:09:40 PM »
I just went on vacation for the weekend and i was at a hotel that had a sauna and whirlpool and outdoor jaccuzi. I spent about a total of 8 hours over 3 days in the hot waters and i never bowled when i was on vacation. I came back home today and none of my bowling gear fits! all of my thumbs on my gear are too big. my thumb is now about 2 or possibley 3 sizes smaller now. plus three of my other friends that i went on vacation with all have said they have had the same problems.

I always asked clients if they normally have swelling or they retain water, when i drill a ball for them, but i didn't think it was really like this!

I know i'll have to just use a bunch of tape(which i hate to do) but everything is now really roomy. lol the vacation was great(got to drive a mustang bullit all weekend) but i have to bowl tonight and nothing is gonna fit.

Anyone else ever have this happen to them? when i was on vacation i was considering finding a gym that had the same type of facilities but now after realizing what happens lol i'm not sure if i should.

Great vacation, and now my thumb has zero swelling.

THat's exactly what I was thinking.

He was in the water & in the sauna I'm sure the callouses & such along with the water weight are gone.
